Tata Aria
India’s own car maker Tata rocked the Auto Expo 2008 with world’s smallest priced car Nano. This time Tata has few other surprises at the Auto Expo 2010. Today they have launched cross breed of SUV and MUV named as Tata Aria. The Tata Aria MPV is designed to make a direct competition with Toyota Innova. It would also be a competitor for Chevrolet Tavera and Mahindra Xylo. Tata rely on a policy, more car per car. The recently launched Indigo Manza was also a value for money car. The indigenous production plants and research team is the main reason for low price cars and trucks from Tata Motors .
Tata has established as most trusted car makers in India. They have large number of service centers and trained professionals. The new Tata Aria would accelerate their growth in the corresponding segment. It will be placed between MUV Tata Sumo Grande and Tata Safari SUV. The latest 2.2 L Dicor engine will be used in Tata Aria. This engine, used in Safari and latest Sumo is capable to output 120ps power at torque 320 NM. Tata Aria the worlds first MUV-SUV cross breed with a four wheel drive.
Tata Aria also comes with plenty of features at very low price that other competitors can’t even imagine. It has GPS navigation, luxury interiors, adjustable seat potions, ABS, climate control system, Dual Air conditioners, 6 Air bags, cruise control, great entertainment inside with CD drive with 3D surround system, Rear Defogger, alloy wheels, Power steering, Power Window and many more. The Tata Aria MPV can include a maximum of 7 persons.
Tata will launch Aria MPV on second quarter of 2010. Price of the vehicle also not announced officially. However the price would be around 9 lakhs making a very tough competition for Toyota Innova.
